"Big Friends
of The Little Theater"

This will be Malenky Theatre’s second time hosting the international “Big Friends of a Small Theater” festival.

Some of the performances will be held in Malenky Theatre’s new building, and some will be held in the “Hasimta” theatre hall in Old Jaffa.

It will begin on October 26th with the Israeli premiere of “Skydiving” directed by choreographer Lena Rosenberg and director Michael Teplitsky.

The festival will also include:

  • Theater groups from Poland, UK, Russia and Israel.

  • Panna Julia (Ludowy Theatre, Krakov, Poland), based on the play by August Strindberg

  • The play “Diary of a Madman” by the Xameleon Theater in London, based on Gogol’s Diary of a Madman and the diaries of Tchaikovsky.
